Cooperation with Schools
Our mission is to provide young people with practical experience, support their growth, and prepare them for future careers in technical fields.
Opening Doors to Future Opportunities
Our goal is to help schools and students develop the IT knowledge and skills they need to succeed in the digital world.
Workshop for Computer Science Teachers
Our vision is to teach the basics of programming to all children in primary school (6th grade). In cooperation with the Montessori Zlín Primary School, we taught children to program with the help of Edison robots in 10 lessons. Now we pass on our experience to computer science teachers and lecturers through Edison workshops in schools.
Excursions
The best way to understand how a company works is to visit it. We organize excursions for secondary schools, technical high schools, universities with a technical focus, and interest groups in software development and engineering. For details and to book an excursion, please contact our HR department at kariera@edhouse.cz.
Internships for Secondary Technical Schools
In 2023, we collaborated for the first time on a practical project with students from the Secondary Technical School in Zlín during their two-week internship as part of their studies. The project focused on developing a system for indicating room occupancy. Our goal was to show students the importance of a hands-on approach to solving specific assignments and the need for continuous learning, just as we continue to learn long after leaving school. For details and collaboration opportunities, please contact our HR department at kariera@edhouse.cz.
Opportunities for University Students
We have partnered with universities to actively engage with the student community. Students can meet us at conferences, presentations, job fairs, or during guest lectures as part of their studies.
Additionally, we organize summer internships. Most of us are university graduates, so we understand how crucial it is to gain practical experience and build confidence by working on real projects during studies. We've been welcoming interns since the company was founded. This has helped us develop expertise in mentoring and workplace adaptation, enabling us to efficiently integrate new team members into full-time roles. Working with interns also gives us the opportunity to support their professional growth and creativity during their studies.

Our school was delighted to accept Edhouse’s offer to participate in the "Edison in Schools" project. It is rare to see a private company so selflessly supporting Czech education. Programming and robotics are often absent in most primary schools, mainly due to financial constraints and packed student schedules. Despite these challenges, Edhouse took on this complex issue, and for that, they deserve our heartfelt thanks. In September, Edhouse invited teachers from pilot schools in the Zlín region to their headquarters, where IT educators were introduced to Edison robots. Among the lucky few were several IT and physics teachers from our school. After a brief introduction, each teacher had the chance to program their own Edison robot, solve programming challenges, and explore the robots hands-on — learning programming in the same practical way we aim to teach our students. The company went above and beyond by translating all teaching materials and the programming environment into Czech. This outstanding work has made a real difference, and for that, we thank you immensely.
Mgr. Tomáš Keprt IT administrator and Informatics Teacher, Elementary School Slovenská Zlín
At our school, we enthusiastically welcomed the initiative of Edhouse to actively engage in teaching the basics of programming and robotics in primary schools using Edison robots. We already have some experience with robotics through our robotics club, where we work with Lego Mindstorms kits. However, Edison robots seem to be an excellent tool for teaching directly in Informatics classes, especially for working with younger children. Edhouse organized an excellent full-day workshop for Informatics teachers, during which we worked on sample tasks. Each participant had their own robot to try out. The workshop also included teaching materials in Czech with ready-to-use lessons for the classroom. We greatly appreciated the personal insights from the trainers, based on their pilot teaching experience. The entire workshop was very well organized, and we truly enjoyed our day with Edhouse and the Edisons. We highly recommend both the workshop and the Edison robot to all teachers of technical subjects and anyone interested!
